DOMINIC CHIANESE

Born and raised in the Bronx, Dominic Chianese has enjoyed a long and successful career as an actor, singer, and musician. He’s best known for his roles as Carrado "Junior" Soprano on the HBO series "The Sopranos," Johnny Ola in "The Godfather, Part ll," and Leander Whitlock in the series "Boardwalk Empire."

Dominic has also had a successful music career. Dominic’s tenor voice and guitar playing have been the perfect fit for his repertoire of American standards, folk classics, Italian songs, and more. Dominic has long been associated with American folk music, including as part of the Greenwich Village music scene during the folk revival days of the 1960s. He performed regularly at Gerde’s Folk City and acted as emcee to introduce other performers.

Dominic has released two music albums. The first, entitled "Hits," in 2000, features him singing American and Italian standards. The second, released in 2003 by AOL Music, entitled "Ungrateful Heart," features 16 classic Neapolitan songs, including the title song, Salvatore Cardillo's sentimental classic "Core 'ngrato" ("Ungrateful Heart"), which Dominic performed in the third-season finale of "The Sopranos."
